Introducing Get Found — Your Business Listings, Sorted from One Place

A new Pro feature that prepares your directory listings for you — copy written from your real Google reviews, details ready to paste, and a checklist that remembers where you got to.

Why we built it

WeWidget has always been about one thing: helping small businesses put their reputation to work. But there is a step before your website that most owners never quite get round to — being properly, consistently listed in the places people search.

Search engines cross-reference your name, address and phone number across directories. When the details match everywhere, it supports your local visibility. When they conflict, or the listings simply do not exist, you are harder to find than you should be — and it has nothing to do with how good your business is.

The reason it does not get done is not mystery, it is tedium: ten directories, ten forms, and a blank “describe your business” box every single time. So we built the thing that removes the tedium.

What Get Found does

Get Found lives in your dashboard and builds a complete listing pack from your real Google data:

  • Listing copy written from your reviews. A punchy tagline, a short description under 160 characters, and a longer one of around 120 words — drawn from what your actual customers say, not generic filler. It only uses facts from your details and reviews; it never invents years in business, qualifications or services.
  • Your details, ready to paste. Name, address, phone and website in one place, each with copy-to-clipboard — so every directory gets exactly the same information.
  • A directory checklist with deep links and tips. Google Business Profile, Bing Places, Apple Business Connect, Facebook, Yelp and Trustpilot for everyone; Yell, Thomson Local, FreeIndex and (for trades) Checkatrade for UK businesses — hidden automatically if you are elsewhere. Each entry links straight to the add-your-business page and tells you what to have ready.
  • Progress tracking. Mark each directory not started, submitted or live. Directories often take days to approve listings, so the checklist remembers where you got to.

What it deliberately doesn’t do

Get Found does not auto-submit your listings. Some tools do, and we thought hard about it — then decided against, for reasons we think you will agree with:

  • You never share directory passwords with us or anyone else.
  • Every listing lives in an account you own — nothing breaks or disappears if you cancel.
  • Nothing gets published anywhere without you reading it first.

It prepares everything and tracks your progress; the actual submitting stays in your hands. Most owners get through the priority directories in an afternoon.

How to get it

Get Found is included in the Pro plan (£9/month) and in every Pro trial — 30 days free, no card required. If you are already on Pro, it is in your dashboard now under Get Found. If you are on a trial, you already have it. And if you are curious, the feature page has the full walkthrough, or start with our UK directory checklist if you would rather do the whole thing by hand — it is a genuinely complete guide either way.
